Error Message in Pro Tools “Error -20006”
Incorrect document.
Access to cloud projects is no longer possible.

Troubleshooting steps:

  1. Check if the project icons are present in the cache folder.
  2. Create a new project (not a session!) by clicking on the NEW button and titling it "Test Project." Activate the "Cloud Backup" checkbox located to the right of the project in the small menu on the project list.
  3. Upload the “Test Project” to the Cloud.
  4. Program restart.
  5. Check the cache folder to ensure the new project icon is present. Now, the new test project icon and the icons of other missing projects should be visible. Either they are still grayed out or in the regular blue color. Click on one and try to load/open it. You may need to activate the "Cloud backup" checkbox again in the menu to the right of the project. If the icons turn blue, project data has been restored and can be loaded.
  6. Create a safety copy of the projects as a session on the hard drive.
